I think every artist can relate to when you are in a rut and anything you draw you are not particularily fond of. Yeeeup. Well, anyways, this is Bradley Traux, in a subway. Tried some new things to see how it would turn out and at the very least I learned something new. X3 When I was in New Orleans I saw some of the FATTEST pigeons in the whole wide world. Just...FYI. :heart:

Used some references in this wonderful book called Subway Style by Andrew Garn.

For some reason, this reminds me of a book I read when I was a bitty child about a boy named Artemis (if my memory serves me right), and he lived in the subway station, and wore one-lensed glasses.

Than tangent aside (gosh, what a clever segue, ne?), I absolutely love this. For whatever reason, I like his lips. I'm very picky about lips, because people seem to not be able to draw them properly, but you did an amazing job. Bravo!

And stick around a while, won't you? DevArt has been terribly dull lately, because so many good artists have up and left. Hmpf!

Wow, that really looks cool. I love the high contrast and the yellow is a particularly nice touch.

I used to live in New Orleans. Thems pigeons are our for blood man. Did you try feeding them beignets? It ends in fun times for those watching.
