I mostly posted this because a) yvie and lyndz were hounding me to do it, and b) because I really was sick of seeing myself on the front page. Wow. Yeah. Seriously. Because I look so terrible and emo and like a myspace reject. My friend speaks truth.
Anyhow!! This is Vex. He is a personification of Schatzi's fears which are solitude and intense bodily injury. Hence why his eyes are blindfolded and his chest is open and so on and so forth. I liked the anatomy on this for like .002 seconds then I hated it. I"m more proud of my dancy icon than I am of this, but that just goes to show...So Vex is my fearly, while Styx is Yvie's. I'm going to draw him shoving her in a dryer one day because he's amused by the fact she makes everything soppy and he's kind of an ass...
PS: The title is from a We Are Scientists song called The Scene is Dead and the lyrics he is saying is from a Better Than Ezra song called Live Again. They're both excellent songs.

I like this and the concept behind it. It's kind of hard to see the blindfold, but then again it's just a sketch, maybe you were planning to fix it later, whatever. I like the way you did the...er...open torso. God, I'm morbid.
