"I'm a loser baby....so why don't you kill me." - beck
It sure seems like Joe's theme song. I don't think I've ever properlly introduced Joe. Joe is the whole reason why Kill the City exists. I had grown awfully fond of the bugger and wanted to give him a story. Give him a comic. He's a very layered and troubled individual, with a tendancy to act as if he only has one layer and is as shallow as a kiddie pool. Because he feels safe that way. He's rather odd, and he loves girls, and craves human touch because he lacks it so. Though nothing really goes Joe's way.
Amazingly though, Joe may have started as the main character, and Sheard a nearly faceless secondary character, the tables got turned and Joe ended up being a supportive character. Wade was created and Sheard got the main role. And I feel so sorry for Joe because I haven't been treating him as good as I should. So, feeling rather sorry for him, I drew him. So Joe, I love you. :3
wow! thanks so much for the DTF, I really really appreciate it. I didn't expect it at all.
awww, poor Joe, I was wondering about him...as to what his story was and the like...whee ha because we heard so little about him (or maybe I wasn't paying well enough attention)
Though now Beck shall be tooting his horn in my head for the rest of the day.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
