Guilty Pleasure

Sorry for uploading a lot today and also for the hugeness of the file! Sometimes I have characters in my head that AREN'T Hanna and crew! I also cannot help but love them and in between working on HiNaBN I draw them as a guilty pleasure (as the title indicates, and also COBRA STARSHIPP YEAHH).

Anyways, I would like you to meet Mercutio Vondrasek (some of you have seen him already), and Ant and Hayward Kunkel. They are brothers, but they are not twins. They are two years apart, Hayward being (big surprise) the eldest. Some of these are done in brush pen, which I have been practicing a lot on the side because I need to get better at not depending on the computer for everyyything.

Because I can't help but yammer on about my characters, that's what the rest of the post will be. Feel free to skip!

Mercutio Vondrasek is incredibly physical and incredibly fiery. Despite being book smart enough (got good marks in school, fairly intelligent, etc), Mercutio rarely ends up falling back on his smarts, but instead his fists and, compounding on the fact that he seems to have very little /common sense/, ends up getting himself in oodles of trouble. He has an intense sense of pride that also allows easy goading into him doing things for you because if you just guise it as a challenge Mercutio will throw himself at it with everything he's got. Though he is a bit of an explosive personality type, he generally feels incredibly apologetic once he's gone 'too far', unless of course he really thought you deserved it and it wasn't just his temper going overboard. Then you're on your own.

Arant "Ant" is the younger brother, and he is quiet and a bit of a wallflower and pretty okay with it. He's kind of artsy at heart, intrigued by the creative and the unknown, and has a very romantic sense of the world where people sweep others off their feet or there's a real sense of /adventure/. Ant is a bit of a jack of all trades, master of none. He dabbles in a bit of everything and anything he enjoys, which means he can play a little of the guitar, the piano, he draws a little and reads a lot, and probably has even taken a class in sculpting and some sort of dance class, but is prone to be mediocre at them all. Ant rarely seems to mind, as he rarely seems to mind much else. His brother is the louder voice of the pair, and he is perfectly happy to allow Hayward think he's running the joint.

As for the older brother, Hayward is kind of a prick. He doesn't mind if you tell him so, he'll happily point out one of your flaws with an insufferable smile on his face. Definitely easily described as cocky and 'an asshole', Hayward doesn't give a damn about what other people think of him in the long run. He'll play nice if it's necessary, but doesn't exactly enjoy it, and he'll bite if he thinks the situation calls for it. Practical by nature, Hayward finds no use for anything 'superfluous'. He also has this weird obsession with being mostly symmetrical so when Ant got his ear pierced he made a fuss until Ant either got rid of it or pierced his other one.

And that's that. Maybe one day you'll see them in a comic (I SURE HOPE SO)! Love you guys!
